WHY WOULD I WANT TO ADD FIST TO MY SYLLABUS? For several reasons. First you’ll increase your bottom line. Secondly you’ll attract people to your school that come from a section of the market who are not interested in traditional martial arts. That gets you more members and more members means more money.

WHO CAN BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR? Anyone who’s certified by us to teach. We take each person on a case by case basis but basically we’re looking for black belt school owners who are progressive and open minded.

HOW DO I BECOME CERTIFIED? By attending one of our intensive weekend training sessions. We’ll teach you a level or two of training at each session and we’ll also teach you how to teach it. You return to your school and you can immediately begin teaching FIST and testing students up to one level beneath yours.

SEVERAL OTHER ORGANIZATIONS OFFER THIS...WHY FIST? Because they charge way too much money. Most of them want you and a student to attend their training in LA. A week in LA including training, accommodations, rental cars, airfare and food can easily cost over $5000. A weekend with us is considerably less and our monthly licensing fee is under $100.

ACCESS TO OUR WEB SITE. Once you’re certified by us to teach we put a link to your school on the FIST web site. You advertise locally and put the web site url on all your ads and flyers and people can see what it’s about without you paying for a website. If your school already has a website you can link to ours and we’ll link to yours.
